Obituary for Billy Dwayne Robinson Jr.
Billy Dwayne Robinson, Jr. passed away April 4, 2018 at his home in Fairfield, Texas at the age of 55. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 at the River of Life Worship Church in Fairfield with Bro. Robert Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Teague. Susan Ferguson, Earl Aaron, Kenneth Rushing, John Burleson, Clayton Lloyd and Tim Baker will serve as pallbearers.
Billy was born January 1, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Billy Dwayne Robinson, Sr. and Lillian Baxter Holt. Dallas was where he grew up and graduated from high school. He was a self-employed general contractor for 30 years.
Billy’s life seemed to be dominated by women; he was the father of two girls, brother to five sisters and, his dog and faithful companion was a female named Bonnie. He loved his family, including Bonnie, and spending time with them was especially important to him. Billy had an outgoing personality and always enjoyed having a good time wherever he went. He also liked to tinker, collect nik-naks and was a big Nascar fan. He was a member of the River of Life Worship Church and a volunteer at their food pantry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Rebecca Rushing and Lois Annette Cranford.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Kimberly and Emily Robinson of West Virginia; sisters, Jeannie Baker and husband, Tim and their children, Mollye and Cassye of Katy, Kelly Peltier and husband, Will and their children, Jackson and Avery of Katy and Kendra Palin of Katy; also nieces, Jordan Rushing of Teague, Heather Cranford of Dallas and Carey Rushing and son, River of Plano; nephew, Gary Cranford; brother-in-law, Kenneth Rushing; and companion, Bonnie.
