Yvonne Johnson

Yvonne Faye Johnson, 82, entered her heavenly home on October 1, 2020.  A memorial service will be observed at Temple Baptist Church, during the regular morning service, at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020, with Bro. Michael Vestal officiating.  The service can, also, be seen live on Temple Baptist Church’s Facebook page.

Yvonne was born March 22, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Donald Archie and Nelma Faye (Canada) Hobbs.  She was an LVN for the Mexia State Supported Living Center for many years, prior to retirement.  She loved the Lord, devoted her life to serving Him, as well as caring for those who were ill or just in need of help.  Yvonne loved her faithful companions, her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Nelma Hobbs.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Tana Pierce; grandson, Brett Pierce; granddaughter, Amber; great grandson, Bruce Pierce; sister, Susan Hicks of Rockport; brother, Randy Muster of Houston; nephews, Joshua Taylor and Jason Mills and wife, Rhonda and their son, Ty; niece, Jamie and husband, Dr. David Padro and their children, Max and Eve; and two great nieces, Madison and Amelia.
