Altha Truitt

Memorial services for Mrs. Altha Hammond Truitt, 81, of Lake Limestone will be 11 am Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Lake Limestone Baptist Church (just off FM 937 on the Sterling Robertson dam road). The Reverend Johnny Layton will officiate at the service. Mrs. Truitt was born May 7, 1926 in Curry, Texas to Crit and Allie C. Jackson Hammond. She had worked in property management as a secretary. She had also worked for several accounting firms and the VA Hospital system. She was an active member of the Lake Limestone Baptist Church. Mrs. Truitt is survived by her husband, Hillry L. (Shorty) Truitt of Lake Limestone, Sons, Bradley Truitt and wife Linda M. Truitt of Groesbeck, Gregory Truitt of Austin, Grandchildren, Robert Truitt of Conroe, Allie Sugg of Conroe, Clifford Truitt of Groesbeck, Samuel, Ross and Max Truitt, all of Austin, Step granddaughter, Christina Baker of Florida and 5 great grandchildren.
