Mrs. Anna Lou Moss Freeman, 93, of Lewisville, formerly of Mexia passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 in Lewisville. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Monday, October 17, 2011, in the Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Marc Wilson officiating. Visitation will start at 11 AM at the funeral home on Monday morning. Mrs. Freeman was born September 11, 1918 in Shiloh to John Henry and Mary Wadle Moss. She grew up in Mexia where she married Tony Freeman. They moved to Dallas in 1948 where they raised their children and later moved back to Mexia in the late 70's. In 2000, Ann moved to Lewisville to be close to her family. During her working years, she was involved in real estate, banking and later enjoyed substitute teaching. Her hobbies included sewing, playing the organ and dominos with friends. She made her own clothes, dolls, afghans and pillows. She loved dogs, dolls and stuffed animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Tony Freeman and her brothers, John Moss and William Moss. Ann is survived by her sons, Tony Freeman and wife, Judy of Garland and Ron Freeman and wife, KayLynn of Flower Mound; six grandchildren, Laurie Wallace and husband, Mike, Kirk Freeman and wife, Angela, Tim Freeman, Kyle Freeman and wife, Heather, Kevin Freeman and wife, Laura and Kristi Tucker and husband, Ethan; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Fay Moss Sawyer of Paris, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.
