Avis Beatrice "Lucy" Castillo, 66, of Mexia passed away December 12, 2012 in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 2PM, Friday, December 14, 2012 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Michael King officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Avis was born February 6, 1946 in Corsicana, Texas to Ed and Dovie Reed Price. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She was affectionately known to her family and friends as "Lucy". She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Cleo Lenamond, Sammie, Gary, Wilmer, Jimmy, Otis and Edward Price. Lucy is survived by her husband, Mayolo Castillo; children, Tonya Rodriguez and Ricky Payne of Mexia, Edward Massey and Laura Kozera of Dallas and, Mary Decker and husband, Bobby of Dallas; grandchildren, Amanda Calame and husband, Kyle, Krystal Alvarez and husband, Jorge, Brandi and Jaiden Rodriguez, Avis Massey, Sava and Brendon Gagich; great-grandchildren, Kynlee, Kasen and Kameron Calame and Mattie Kimbeni; brother, Louis Price, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Price, Ronald Lenamond, Jeremy Price, James Price, Jason Sterling and Nathan Price.
