Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lynn Kuykendall Gates, 63 of Tehuacana will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel . Bro. Eugene Arnold and Bro. Larry Holden will officiate with interment to follow in the Tehuacana Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home. Mrs. Gates was born July 25, 1944 in Cleburne to L. B. and Dovie Campbell Kuykendall and passed away on February 4, 2008 at her residence in Tehuacana. She worked as Program technician, client records, at Mexia State School and retired after 30 years. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Harold C. Gates of Tehuacana, a daughter, Audrey Yvonne Isbell of Coolidge, a son, Harold Duwain Gates of Tehuacana, four grand- children, Lacey Lynn Isbell and Marcie Yvonne Isbell, both of Abilene, Kaysi Charlotte Isbell and Hayli Deanne Isbell of Coolidge and a sister, Virginia Berry of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. B. Kuykendall and Dovie Campbell Kuykendall Craddock and by a son, Jeffrey Lynn Gates on March 11, 1985. Pallbearers will be Lewis Isbell, Gary Isbell, Frankie Isbell, Ricky Davis, Heath Allcorn and Dustin Richards.
