Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Guest, 60 of Bellmead will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel in Mexia. Rev. Steve Henderson will officiate with interment to follow in Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Guest was born March 18, 1945 in Groesbeck to Charles James and Nellie B. Sanders and passed away at her residence in Bellmead on February 18. She was a Registered nurse and worked for 25 years for Waco VA She received an associate Degree in applied science. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Guest. She is survived by her Son, James Gregory Guest and wife, Janis of Waco, daughters, Kimberly Dawn Hernandez and husband, Noel of Spring and Lisa Gayle Ferguson and Husband, Lonnie of Mexia, Mother, Nellie B. Sanders Dick of Mesquite, Grandchildren: Alisha Kay Guest, Amber Nicole Guest, Ryan Scot Smith, Rachel Nicole Guest, Bailee James, Marie Hernandez, Blake Smith And Noel Leon Hernandez; brother, Jack Sanders of Mexia and sisters, Ruth Henderson and Darlene Morton of Mexia, Marsha Sanders, Sue Hendricks and Rhonda Horton, all of Mesquite and Martha Marshburn of Canton, two faithful dog companions, Pepper Scot and Lucy Bell Guest. Pallbearers will be Noel Hernandez, Davy Smith, Mike Morton, Spike Morton, Zack Arrington and Blake Smith.
