Betty was born to Russell and Dolly (Mitchell) Pease on October 10, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She loved music from a young age, she played saxophone with her brother as a small child live on the local radio station and loved to sing in her church choir. She played in a ukulele band and she was able to gift a piano to her granddaughter. Betty loved her coffee, wine and cigarettes as well as to go shopping. She bragged on her prized possession of the Coach tennis shoes that she found on clearance. Many fond memories were made on the farm in Mexia. She was very loved and will be missed, but will always be with us in our hearts and memories, says her granddaughter Kailie Rayn Kirkpatrick.
