Betty Lee Williamson, 67, of Mexia went to live with her Lord on August 24, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Jeff Wright will officiate with interment to follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Betty was born April 23, 1942 in Taylor, Texas to Leonard and Lena Grabs Rinderknecht. She has lived in Mexia for over 40 years. Betty had been an employee of the Mexia ISD for the last 5 1/2 years. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Betty was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neal Williamson; a granddaughter, Amanda Dabney; and a sister, Barbara Ponder. She is survived by her son, Paul Wilder and wife, Janalyn of Dallas; daughters, Rebecca Sterling and husband, Tim, Tammy Nance, Kelley Starnes and husband, Steven, Michelle Lawless and husband, Shannon all of Mexia and Jessica Riley and husband, Don of New Mexico; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jordon Lawless of Mexia, Misty Lowder and John Wilder of Dallas, Eric Sterling and Amy Rodriquez of Mexia, Jamie Wilder, Jimmy Henderson and Cory Henderson of Groesbeck, Gary Henderson of Teague, Lauren Rodriquez, Steven Starnes and Cherish Hicks of Mexia, B. G. Hicks, Taylor Pounder and Kaitlynn Pounder of New Mexico; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Charles Rinderknecht and wife, Kathy and Steve Williams; sister Tommie House and husband, David; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Eric Sterling, Jimmy Henderson, Gary Henderson, Cory Henderson, Nicholas Lawless, Steven Ryan Starnes, B. G. Hicks and John Wilder.
