Beulah Gentry

Mrs. Beulah Lorene Gunning Gentry, 86, of Mexia and formerly of Hubbard, passed away March 18, 2009 in Mexia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in the Mexia Cemetery. Mrs. Gentry was born to Elbert and Lorene (Byford) Bollinger in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 8, 1922. She has been a resident of Mexia for the past 9 years. She loved spending time with family and friends, as well as shopping for antiques, playing cards and traveling. Mrs. Gentry was very outgoing and loved to be among people. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her foster parents, Frank and Lillian Primm; her husband, W. A. Gentry; two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Gentry is survived by two daughters, Charlene Shipman of Grand Prairie and Nancy Malone and husband, James of Wichita Falls; a son, James Gunning and wife, Pat of Mexia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
