Mrs. Billie DeMonney, 77, of Coolidge passed away December 5, 2008 in Waco. Funeral services for Mrs. DeMonney will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 8, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Coolidge. Rev. Larry Holden will officiate with interment to follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hancock, Ben Hancock, Donald Irwin, Wyatt Lee Wilson, Charles Finley, Jr., Brian Tollett. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Sunday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mrs. DeMonney was born July 24, 1931 to Willie and Vera Alexander in Pinn Oak Bottoms, Tx. She had been a longtime resident of Coolidge. Mrs. DeMonney retired from the Mexia State School where she worked as a Program Tech for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Brooks of Coolidge; sons, Ronnie McCaslin of Tyler and Tony DeMonney and wife, Rebecca of Forest Glade; grandchildren, Todd, Chad and Blake McCaslin, Amanda Tollett, Michael Brooks, David and Colton DeMonney; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Alexander and wife, Barbara of Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy DeMonney in 1995 and son, Michael Glenn McCaslin.
