Bobby Joe Creech, 67, of Mexia, passed away September 9, 2013 in Temple, Texas. The family will have a private memorial service. Bobby was born May 30, 1946 in Uvalde, Texas to Cecil Finley and Marilyn Brody Creech. He was a self-employed master plumber for over 20 years. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a very active member of the American Legion in Teague; always involved in every club fundraiser or wherever he was needed. Although Bobby enjoyed camping and motorcycles, his precious time spent with his grandchildren was his greatest joy. He was a very devoted and loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruthie Creech. Bobby is survived by his children, Barbara Van Winkle and husband, Ricky of Mexia, Tammy Hutchinson and husband, David of Katy, Jeff Schuchard and wife, Melissa of Pearland, Jimmy Creech of Uvalde and Jodi Knoll and husband, Troy of Pearland; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Donnie Creech; and sister, Jackie Buchanan.
