Bobby Lansford

Bobby Joe Lansford, 75, of Hewitt passed away April 22, 2012 in The Woodlands, Texas after a brief stay at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where he was being treated for leukemia complicated by a stroke. Funeral services will be 2PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lost Prairie Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7-9 p.m., Wednesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Bobby was born October 1, 1936 to Preston and Pearl Lansford. He attended Groesbeck High School and was a graduate of Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. He retired from TSTC in Waco. Bobby was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hewitt. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Shannon Weber. Bobby is survived by his wife, Donna, son, Brandon Lansford and wife Paula of Houston; grandchildren, Natalee Shanks and Cory Weber; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Shanks and Preston Weber.
