Bryan Kevin Sterling, 40, of Mexia passed away July 15, 2013 in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Prentiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 9:00-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Bryan was born December 20, 1972 in Wortham, Texas to Earl Sterling and Romelda Garber Moffett. He was a loving and gentle hearted son who loved his family and everyone he met. He loved going to church, holidays, fishing and swimming. Bryan, especially, looked forward to family gatherings. He was happiest when he was with his family. Although he will be truly missed by his family here on earth, they take great comfort in knowing he is now with God and his heavenly family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Maxine Sterling; and Claude "Tennessee" and Louise Garber. Bryan is survived by his mother, Romelda Moffett of Mexia; father and step-mother, Earl and Cheryl Sterling of Mexia; sisters, Chassity Smith and husband, Keith of Mexia and Delana Webb and husband, Josh of Diboll; brothers, Lance Sterling and wife, Natalie of Liberty Hill and Jason Sterling of Mexia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Lee Garber, Josh Ingram, Kellan Mathis, Nick Nichols, Jimmie Sterling, Timmie Sterling, Bobby Sterling and Jason Sterling. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Ingram, Keith Smith and Lance Sterling.
