Carol Lea Schuster, 78, of Point Enterprise, passed away June 10, 2011 in Mexia. Funeral services will be 10 AM, Monday, June 13, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Boyette officiating. Interment will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4-7 PM., Sunday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Rosary beginning at 7 PM. Carol was born in Breckenridge, Texas on September 16, 1932 to Glenn and Blanche Shaw. After graduating from high school, she attended Tarleton State College. She worked for the State of Mississippi Comptroller Office and the Registrar's Office at University of Texas of Dallas, where she retired. Then she worked for her good friend, Rosie at the Bluebonnet Grocery, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Carol and Michael F. Schuster married on December 18, 1951 in Palo Pinto, Texas. She enjoyed working with him on their farm and especially loved spending time with her family. Her love for her Lord, family and friends was evident in her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and sister. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Michael; children, Michael Glenn Schuster of Oklahoma City, Karla Kay Schuster of Garland, Anthony L. Schuster of College Station, Emmett C. Schuster of Haubstadt, IN, Dr. Greta L. Schuster of Kingsville, Sharon Schuster of Mexia and Christopher O. Schuster of Dallas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth Shaw of Giddings; and in-laws, Joseph and Sylvia Schuster of Bryan, Mary Anna Minchew, Edmund and Roxianne Schuster and Helen Matthews all of Mexia. Pallbearers will be Eric Schuster, Skip Schuster, Michael Matthews, Warren Matthews, Stephen Minchew and Kent Schuster.
