Carolyn Miller

Carolyn Frances Miller, 70, passed away April 5, 2015 in Mexia. In honor of her wishes, the family will have a private service only. Carolyn was born December 30, 1944 to Falton and Violet Medlen Miller in Mexia, Texas. She was a nurse for the Mexia State School for 15 years and Marlin State Prison for 10 years, jobs in which she loved and took great pride in providing care to others. Carolyn was a very caring, compassionate and loving person. She was blessed with two children, who were the light of her life. She lovingly cared for her parents during their aging years; family meant everything to her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Sherri St. John and husband, Gary Ferguson of Mexia; and son, Russell Dale Wood of Mexia.
