Chad Carter

Chad Wanye Carter, 48, of Buffalo, passed away November 26, 2013 in Temple, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2013 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hatton officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chad was born January 31, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas to Willard Conrad Carter and Gloria Johnson. He was a rancher. He loved the country, raising cattle and having a good time with family and friends. Chad was a fun loving guy who will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Kim Carter. Chad is survived by his special friend and companion, Misty Michelle Watson; father, Willard Carter; sister, Jamie Baker and husband, Kevin; nephews, Will Baker, Keith Carter and wife Amey and Nathan Medina; great-nieces, Grace Carter and Rylee Pierce; two step-fathers, Steve Decker and Raymond Peters. Pallbearers will be Keith Carter, Will Baker, Kevin Baker, Steve Decker, Raymond Peters and Dustin Murchison.
