Charles (Sonny) Stromire, 87, of Houston, Texas passed away February 15, 2018. He was born in Gosnell, Arkansas to Charles and Ora Mae Gean Stromire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Scott Stromire. Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Lynn) Stromire of Houston; son, Steve Stromire of Blytheville, AR and daughter-in-law, Julie; two grandsons, Josh Stromire and Casey Stromire and wife, Gloria; one great grandson, little Charlie and one great granddaughter, Chandler. He is also survived by a nephew, Danny Bevill of Blytheville: several cousins: and special friend, Sadie Williams. He was a member of Gosnell Baptist Church before joining the First Baptist Church in Blytheville. Sonny moved his Trucking Business to Houston in 1981 and there he met his wife of 35 years. They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, attending rallies and making many friends along the way. They were blessed with a wonderful life together. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at the New Hope Cemetery in Farrar, Texas with Rev. Shane Norcross officiating. Ron Parker, Bo Seale, B. J. Brotherton, Sadie Williams and Ray Grissett will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Brotherton, Jerry Fisher and Troy Smart. Love you Honey and you will be missed by all.
