Charlie Frank Bounds, 60, passed away October 19, 2015 in Mexia. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Bro. David Bates officiating. Charlie was born April 18, 1955 in Mexia, Texas to Charlie Walter and Frances Edra Sudduth Bounds. He grew up in Tehuacana where he completed the fifth grade, prior to transferring to Mexia ISD. He worked as a truck driver for Larry Smith and the Dr. Pepper Company for a number of years, in addition to working on farms and ranches. Charlie had an outgoing personality, never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing his base guitar and, in his earlier years, played with a local band throughout the area. He was once a member of the Brotherhood of Bikers. Charlie was a lover of all animals. Charlie cherished his family and spending time with them. He was a loving brother and uncle who was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents;and brothers, Billy Smith, Donald Smith and Bobby Wren. Charlie is survived by his sisters, Debra Dickinson of Mexia; Nelda G. Miller and husband, Jimmy C. of Waco, Linda Snider of Bellmead and Patricia Cisneros and husband, Richard of Round Rock; special nephew, Brian Dickinson; special niece, Dawn Wyatt and husband, Joe; special great nephews, Taylor Dickinson and Nicholas Wyatt; special great nieces, Sakira and Camryn Wyatt; numerous other nieces, nephews and friends; and his three special cats, Brentley, Patches and Back and Black.
