Christopher Spychalski

Christopher John Anthony Spychalski, 63, of Mexia passed away January 22, 2011 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Christopher was born May 10, 1947 in Maumee, Ohio to Chester and Deloris (Hill) Spychalski. He graduated from Bowling Green University with a degree in Physical Education and later completed an Associates degree in Computer Programming. In 1983, he served as the President of Care Systems, Inc., a data processing firm in Ohio. He relocated to Texas in 1989 and was subsequently employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the Data Services Division. He retired from the Agency in 2007 at which time he moved his residence to Lake Mexia. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clyde; and sister, Claudia. Christopher is survived by his wife, Shelley Albright of Mexia; children, Christopher, Jeff, Nicholas Spychalski, Jennifer Jones and Jaime Nielsen; step-son, Trace Albright; grandchildren, Taylor, Andrew, Travis, Chelsea, Emily and Lindsay; and sister, Gretchen Hankins of Happy Jack, AZ.
