Clarence "Buddy" Wayne Stewart, 57, of Groesbeck passed away November 18, 2012 at his home in Groesbeck, Texas. Funeral services will be 11AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Groesbeck with Rev. Jason Ash and Rev. Wes Willie officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Parker Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Buddy was born October 3, 1955 in Groesbeck, Texas to Leonard and Ruby Inez Stewart. He was a resident of Limestone County his entire life. He graduated from Mexia High School in 1974; then attended Navarro College, where he received an Associate Degree. He, also, had a Master Peace Officer License. Buddy was presently serving as Constable of Precinct 3 for Limestone County. His love for God, his family and serving others was evident in his life. He was a member of the Limestone Law Enforcement, Iron Circle and Temple Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Glenda Joyce Beene. Buddy is survived by his wife, Inez Stewart of Groesbeck; sons, Leonard Stewart and wife, Christina of Round Rock and Allan Stewart and wife, Shannon of Groesbeck; daughter, Tana Stewart and fiance`, Joseph Walker of Ville Platte, LA; sister, Rita Hutson and husband, Brex of Wortham; grandchildren, Lacey, Joshua and Brooke Stewart of Round Rock, Travis and Peyton Stewart and Ayden Martin of Groesbeck; and one grand dog, Ty. Pallbearers will be Tim Waldie, Roger Brooks, Buck Bonner, Scott Smith, David Moore, David Jones, Mike Thetford and Joey Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be the Limestone County Law Enforcement, Mexia Fire Department and Iron Circle.
