Cleo Crosthwait, better known as "Aunt T", 94, of Thornton passed away November 2, 2012 in Groesbeck, Texas. Funeral services will be 2PM, Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton with Mr. Richard Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Saturday, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton. Cleo was born November 11, 1917 in Thornton, Texas to George and Ida Gentry Bradley. She married Felton L. Crosthwait on June 15, 1940 in Thornton. They made their home in Beaumont and Houston during Felton's career with Southern Pacific Railroad. After his death in 1989, she returned to Thornton in 1990. Cleo devoted a great deal of her time helping and taking care of her family members. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Groesbeck. She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Grady Bradley; and sister, Thelma Neason. Cleo is survived by sister, Doris Meyers of Dallas; sister-in-law, Ruth Yeager of Nacogdoches; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Yeager, Mark Eddings, Steven Sheppard, Joe Neason, Jr., and Walter Hewitt.
