Deneen Coslin

Deneen Coslin passed away at the age of 56 on September 10, 2024, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born to Doyle Lee and Bobbie Vern (Little) Coslin on January 12, 1968, in Mesquite, Texas. 

She attended Baylor University, Navarro College and North Texas State University to obtain several associates degrees, then on to University of Texas at Arlington for her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. She worked at Navarro Regional Hospital, Doctor’s Hospital, Parkview Regional Hospital in the Emergency Room or the ICU, in addition to being a Care flight nurse in Dallas for a time. Her love for people and her desire to help them was evident in her life work as a nurse. 

Her soft spot was for all animals except for spiders and snakes. Stray cats and dogs and goats, donkeys, pets of all kinds were always welcome at her home; it was like living in the “Wild Kingdom” per her family. 

Deneen enjoyed trips to the beach with her family as well as cruises to Mexico with her late husband Ronnie. She always enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews as they held a special place in her heart.

Deneen is preceded in death by her mother Bobbie Vern Coslin and her husband Ronnie Bushman. The family left to cherish her memory are her faither, Doyle Coslin, brothers- Darrell Coslin and wife Jan and Darren Coslin,  nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at Oaks Cemetery near Donie, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on September 21, 2024, and will be officiated by Pastor Chris Marsh.
