Denise Gillentine

Denise Gay Gillentine, 63, of Mexia, passed away July 30, 2015 in Waco. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Denise was born June 11, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Jerald Ray and Kathryn Sue Bell McHargue. She had been an accounting clerk for MHMR for 20 plus years. Denise's love for God and her family were most important in her life. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she made it a huge event for her family. She lived her Christian faith as an active, longtime member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Her hobbies consisted of watching movies, the Golden Girls and the Waltons. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerald R. McHargue. Denise is survived by her loving children, Matthew Isabell of Mexia and Rhonda Loeliger of Cedar Park; grandchildren, Brandi and Heather Waller of Cedar Park; mother, Kathryn Sue McHargue; brothers, Paul McHargue and David McHargue and wife, Beverly all of Wortham; two nieces; two nephews; and two great-nieces. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Coon, Donnie Tucker, Frankie Leyva, Trevor McHargue, Jeff Seguin and Andrew McHargue.
