Eddie Padgett

Eddie Dwight Padgett passed away, June 11, 2020, at his home in Kosse.  A memorial service will be held at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton on June 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.

Eddie was born in Houston, Texas on April 22, 1948 to Eddie Weldon and Violet Alleman Padgett.  He proudly served his country as a Medic in the US Navy for 13 years.  After being discharged from the Navy, he attended MCC to further his education in the medical field.  Eddie retired from his Medic career after many years of service with Brown and Root.

Although Eddie had no children of his own, he dearly loved his nieces, nephew and especially loved, and enjoyed, spoiling the great nieces and nephews by keeping them supplied with plenty of suckers.   Eddie also enjoyed watching Westerns and old shows on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Violet Padgett.

Eddie is survived by his loving sister, Flora Reigert of Kosse; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and several great nieces and great nephews.
