Edward Delone Ingersoll, 92, of Wortham passed away August 17, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in the Wortham Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mr. Ingersoll was born to Joseph and Hettie (Wheeler) Ingersoll in Blanchester, Ohio on November 6, 1915. He retired from General Motors Corporation after 32 years of service as a supervisor. Mr. Ingersoll served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Ingersoll of Wortham; daughter, JoAnn Carine and husband, Bill of Fairfield; grandchildren: Tracey Villanueva and husband, Jose of Waco, Marcey Dunnahoe and husband, Tadd of Wortham; great grandchildren: Isabella and Rebecca Villanueva, Dalton and Tyler Dunnahoe; step grandchildren; Pat Carine and wife Lynne of New Carlisle, Ohio; step great grandchildren: Lisa, Jennifer, Patrick and William Carine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
