Allen Miller, 89 years old of Dickinson, Texas completed his service on earth on November 3, 2023 and has now taken his place with the Lord. The loving husband of Frances Miller passed peacefully from this life surrounded by his only surviving son and daughter Tommy and Elaine.

Allen was born April 30, 1934, in Freestone, Texas. He grew up in Teague, Texas. He married the love of his life, Frances Holmes of Mexia, Texas on May 22, 1954, and had three wonderful children. He was a proud member of the Springfield Lodge Masons.

The family was very blessed to have had such a great example of a true Texas gentleman.  His beliefs in God, family and values were lived everyday.  He never met a stranger, and this is a testament to his many friends locally and around the world.  His life was a true adventure and he always embraced it to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his wife Frances, his daughter Diana, parents James W and Nettie Flora Miller, also his brothers Marvin, Grady, and Charles.

Survivors include his son Tommy Miller of Mexia, daughter Elaine Wyatt and husband Jeff Wyatt of Dickinson Tx; Five grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.  Many more extended family members held a special place in his heart.

Memorial services will be held on November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Blair-Stubbs Chapel, Mexia, Texas. Masonic rights will be observed.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice or the charity of your choice.
