Estelle Baldwin

Estelle M. Baldwin, 92, passed away August 3, 2015 in Groesbeck. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Ferguson Cemetery (Oletha Community) with Mr. Larry Dickens and Mr. Joe Lucas officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8, Tuesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Estelle was born in Mexia, Texas on April 25, 1923 to James Roger and Eva Owens Moody. She was a lifelong resident of Limestone County. Estelle was a wonderful example of a Godly Christian woman and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to caring for her husband, raising their two sons and spoiling their grandchildren. Her family, also, remembers her as being a fantastic cook and an awesome seamstress. Estelle was a long time member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. She was preceded by her husband, W.E. Baldwin; and siblings, Ray Moody, J.T. Moody, Quin Moody, Coie Carlisle, Mary Knight, Dorothy Johnson, Irene James and Violet Kelly. Estelle is survived by her sons, James E. Baldwin and wife, Nancy and Richard P. Baldwin and wife, Pam all of Thornton; grandchildren, Jimmy Baldwin and wife, Lori, Kristi Anne Watson, Michelle King and husband, Andy, Ben Baldwin and fiancé, Kendall Nelson, Coy Baldwin and wife, Kristina; great-grandchildren, Logan and Eady King, Hannah Baldwin, Ty and Trace Baldwin and Emily and Kade Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ty Baldwin, Trace Baldwin, Cade Watson, Logan King, Jimmy Baldwin, Andy King, Ben Baldwin and Coy Baldwin.
