Florence "Teddi" Theodosia Lopez

Florence Theodosia “Teddi” Lopez passed away October 5, 2022 in Groesbeck, Texas at the age of 82.  A Celebration of Life will be held at DuBois Funeral Home in Audubon, NJ.

Teddi was born March 28, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland to John J. and Lillian (Weckesser) Gamble.  She married Edward E. Lopez, Sr. on December 27, 1958 and they were blessed with five children, Edward, Jr., Christine, Vincent, Carol and Deborah.  They raised their children and lived in Mantua NJ until 2000, then they retired and moved to Lewes, DE.  After Edward passed away in 2015, Teddi moved to Groesbeck, Texas to be near her daughter, Deborah and her family.

Teddi devoted her life to taking care of her family; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She always loved spending time with family and friends, however, over the past few years, her greatest joy has been spending her days with her beloved dog, Gigi.  Whenever time permitted, she enjoyed painting, reading, puzzles, word searches, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Gamble; son, Vincent Lopez; and sister-in-law, Delores.

Teddi is survived by her children, Edward Lopez, Jr (Judy), Christine Hand (William), Carol Lockman (Lester), Deborah Hirleman (Thomas); daughter-in-law, Honora Lopez; grandchildren, Erica Lopez (fiancé Sean Taylor), Samantha Lopez, Brandon Hand (Chesse), Trevor Hand, Kaitlyn Hand, Daniel Lopez (Kiersten), Natalie Lopez (Nichole Rudy), Sharon Hagerty (Anthony), Kyle Lockman, John DeLuca (Kasey Nobles), Andrew DeLuca (Sara), and Dominic DeLuca; great grandchildren, Evan Ellison (Erin Kennedy), Colin Hagerty, Luna Carey, Wyatt Wingo, Aroura Wingo, and John Soul DeLuca aka L.J; brother, John J. Gamble, Jr. (Glenda); brother-in-law, Sonny Sulpizi; and several nieces and nephews.
