Fred Lumpkin

OBIT Fred A. Lumpkin Memorial services for Mr. Fred A. Lumpkin, 78 will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Marcus Sheffield Pastor of First Baptist Church in Mexia will officiate. Mr. Lumpkin was born September 8, 1927 in Dallas, Texas and passed away at local hospital on September 10, 2005. He was a salesman for Talley Chemical Company for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He served in Merchant Marines in World War II and in United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors are his wife, Georgia Ann Lumpkin, two daughters: Jenny Hyden of Dallas and Bobbie Jeanette Warren of Rowlett; son, Steve Lumpkin of Forest Glade: grandchildren: Gary Ray Warren, Stephanie Ann Warren and Wendy Renee Hyden; Great grandchildren: Samantha Kelly, Scott Kelly and Harper Kelly. Mr. Lumpkin is also survived by a host of other loved ones and friends.
