Funeral services for Gerald Renolds Wilburn (Jerry) Miller, 88 of Mexia will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 in the First Presbyterian Church in Mexia. Rev. Ken Lane will officiate with interment to follow in the Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born August 8, 1919 in Hydman, PA to the Orville Millers and passed away on March 20, 2008 in the local hospital. He was a retired accountant from Southwestern Electric Service Company, having worked there for 30 years. He was a member of Springfield Lodge # 74 for 61 years, accountant and auto salesman for McKenzie Motors in Mexia, Member of Teague Commandry # 91, Waco Scottish Rite, Teague # 320 RAM, Zerubbabel #26 R&SM, Mexia Baseball Association, Served in the US Army during World War II and was a elder in the First Presbyterian Church in Mexia. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Troy and Jan Miller of Mexia; Grandchildren, Leah and Tom Miller of Katy, and James Ward of Mexia, great grandchildren, Jacob Miller and Joseph Miller of Katy and Cameryn Ward of Mexia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Mexia or Springfield Lodge # 74. Pallbearers will be members of Springfield Masonic Lodge # 74.
