Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Nadene Sears, 64 of Lake Mexia will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2008 in Temple Baptist Church in Mexia. Bro. Michael Vestal and Charles Loyd will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Sears was born February 16, 1943 in Prescott, Arkansas and passed away on January 7, 2008 in a Waco hospital. She had been a resident of Mexia for 10 years, was a homemaker and member of the Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Lois Glass Pratt, her husband, John Noah Sears, a daughter, Bethany Sands and a brother, Wayne Pratt. Mrs. Sears is survived by her sons: Gary Sears and wife, Paula of Dawson and Terry Sears and wife, Lora of Godley, a daughter, Deanna Hutchason and husband, David of Aquilla, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a sister, Jean Halliburton and husband, Ray of Mexia. . .
