Glenn Allen Tucker, 59, of Personville, Texas passed away November 25, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Monday, November 28, 2011 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Interment will be in Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas at 11AM, Tuesday. Glenn was born July 25, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Durward J. and Dora Lee Hauser Tucker. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Dallas in 1970 and received a BA in History from SMU in 1989. He also took a number of courses in petroleum engineering which proved beneficial as he worked with his Dad, for 11 years, in the oil drilling business. Glenn played the guitar in a rock and roll band for a number of years. In 1991, he moved to the family ranch in Limestone County, where he raised Beefmaster cattle. He also enjoyed competing in pistol shooting and horseback riding. He was preceded in death by his parents. Glenn is survived by his brother, George E. Tucker of Woodstock, N.Y.; and many friends. Pallbearers will be Darrell Spurlock, Rodney Armstrong, Kevin Nabors, Billy Whaley, Terry Hagan and Jimmy Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ennis Holmes, Donald Barger, Craig Mathis, Danny Ray Fortson and Brady Armstrong.
