Gloria Maye Sinclair, 80, of Houghton Lake, Michigan passed away December 26, 2011 in Alma, Michigan. Funeral Services will be 2PM, Friday, December 30, 2011 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Bro. Robert Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Gloria was born July 30, 1931 in Prairie Hill, Texas (on Christmas Creek) to Stell and Florence Thelma Green Waldrop. She retired from the Mexia State School Food Service Department after many years of service. She actively served as a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Idaho and Michigan. Her love for God and her family was evident in her life. Gloria loved the outdoors. In her early years, she loved to hunt and fish. She enjoyed mowing, gardening and caring for her yard. She, also, owned a florist for several years. Gloria had an unforgettable smile that would light up any room. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gloria is survived by her daughters, Glenda Sinclair of Galveston and Gwen Grubb Hulme of Jarrell; grandchildren, Jennifer Yonker of Mt. Home, ID and Jason Grubb of Boulder, CO.; great-grandchildren, Forrestt Zimmermann of Mt. Home, ID and Kalob Tuck of Waynesville, OH; and brothers, Billy Waldrop of Coolidge, Stell Waldrop, Jr. of Prairie Hill and G. W. Waldrop of Prairie Hill.
