Grady was born June 12, 1938 in Limestone County, Texas to McKenzie and Mary Louise Bradley Masters. He was a retired truck driver and cattle rancher. Grady married the love of his life, Jeanette Campbell, on December 31, 1957 in Groesbeck, Texas; they were blessed with two children, Virginia and Grady, Jr.

Grady's love for his family and the Lord was evident in the way he lived his life. He believed in working hard and taking care of his family, which he gladly did. Grady was like most grandfathers, his grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of his eye, his pride and joy. He was an easy-going man who enjoyed living a simple, quiet life in Shiloh, Texas. Although working his land and raising cattle was a lot of work, it was something he thoroughly enjoyed.

Grady served for many years on the Shiloh Cemetery board and was a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church. He was a friend to many and will be truly missed all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry "Tubo" Masters.

Grady is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jeanette; daughter, Virginia "Ginny" Masters-Kramer; son, Grady Masters, Jr; special daughter, Debbie Leago; grandchildren, Brandi Tackett-Eure and husband, Troy, Sara Masters, Stacey Masters-Chambers and husband, Phillip; and great grandchildren, Christopher Slater, Destiny Slater, Jackson Turner, Laci Logan and Savannah Chambers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Association %Ginny Kramer, 549 FM 1365, Mexia, TX 76667.
