Guillermo Perez

Guillermo Perez, 81, passed away at his home in Mexia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor, TX with Father Gustavo officiating. Interment will follow in the La Pryor Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Guillermo was born January 25, 1938 in La Pryor, Texas to Manuel and Concepcion Granado Perez. He retired from the local Rock Crusher in Mexia, after many years of service.

Guillermo was a loving husband, father and grandfather who worked hard to provide for his family. When he had the opportunity, he enjoyed playing bingo, poker and dominoes with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed fishing and watching the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Concepcion Perez; wife, Gloria Gonzalez Perez; and son, Guillermo Perez, Jr.

Guillermo is survived by his loving daughter, Norma Alicia Perez; and four grandchildren, Orlando Briseno, Michelle Perez, Melissa Perez and Jeremiah Perez.
