Harold Gates

Harold Cleet (Pappa) Gates, 69,of Tehuacana passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at his residence in Tehuacana. Harold was born October 6, 1942 in Groveton to Cleet Milson and Eva Pearl Alexander Gates. He was a longtime resident of Tehuacana and was retired from Pharmacy Plus in Mexia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Lynn and by his son, Jeffrey Lynn Gates. Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Audrey Isbell and Michael Tagg of Coolidge, son, Harold Duwain Gates of Tehuacana, grandchildren, Lacey Lynn Isbell of Waco, Marcie Yvonne Isbell of Abilene, Kaysi Charlotte Isbell of Killeen and Hayli Deanne Isbell of Coolidge. He is further survived by his siblings, Joanie Arnold of Hubbard, Raymond Gates of Houston and Aubrey Gates of Logansport, LA. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm at the Tehuacana cemetery with Pastor Gene Arnold officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Pallbearers will be Gerald Reagan, Gary Isbell, Jessie Munson, Frank Compton, Charlie Lewis, and Dalton Allcorn. Honorary Pallbearer will be Wyatt Lee Wilson.
