Hazel Robinson

Hazel Marie Robinson, 91, of The Woodlands passed away January 21, 2012 in The Woodlands, Texas. Funeral services will be 11AM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia with Rev. Kory Koch officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Centerville, Texas. Visitation with the family will be from 9AM until service time at 11AM at funeral home. Hazel was born May 2, 1920 in Jewett, Texas to Claude White and Lillian Allison White Streater. She had resided in Kosse, Texas many years before moving to The Woodlands. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1935 and The University of Texas Austin. Hazel taught English and Homemaking for many years at Chula Vista Junior High School in Chula Vista, California. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Kosse, Texas, of the Texas Exes and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Robinson; and siblings, Carl White, Jasper White, Opal and Mildred. Hazel is survived by sons, Larry Robinson and wife, Lynn of Kosse, Tx. , Michael Robinson and wife, Mary Ann of Reno, Nevada and William Robinson of The Woodlands, Tx. ; sisters, Sybil Coffey and husband, Harold of Houston, Tx. and Melba Hall of Nacogdoches, Tx.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
