Herman Dell Pollock, 77, of Teague passed away July 31, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Mexia with Chaplain Otis Conner officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. He was born in Groesbeck on June 17, 1932 to Sam Davis and Ruby Jewell Plummer Pollock. He retired from the Mexia State School after many years of service. Herman worked at the Mexia Cotton Mill prior his employment at the Mexia State School. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Inderman Pollock of Teague; sons, David Wayne Pollock of Lake Limestone; Larry Glen Blasingame and wife, Dawn of Garland, Gary Lynn Blasingame and wife, Gwen of Santa Fe, David Allen Blasingame and wife, Karen of Saginaw; daughters, Vikki Lynn Danz of Lake Limestone and Brenda Gayle Waldrip and husband Stan of Donie; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother, Drewey Don McMullen of Magnolia, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Davis and Ruby Jewell Pollock; grandson, Christopher Waldrip; and sister, Cleo Clayton. Pallbearers will be Michael William Danz, Russell Pollock, Bobby Blasingame, Tearance Lewis, Winfred Collins and Travis Blasingame.
