Homer Allen Copley, Jr., 51 of Tehuacana passed away Wednesday March 1, 2006 in Mexia. Allen was born July 7, 1954 in Mexia to Homer Allen and Maxine Copley. He was a lifetime resident of this area and was operations manager for Frazier and Frazier Foundry in Coolidge. He was a member of the Northcrest Church of Christ. Allen is survived by his wife, Paula Gillmore Copley of Tehuacana, Sons - Chad Allen Copley of Dallas and Cody Copley of Waco.Father, Homer Allen Copley, Sr. of Coolidge, Grandson - Chandler Allen Copley of Groesbeck. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters - Jimmie Sue Holland and husband John of College Station, Paula Smith and husband Danny of Round Rock, James Copley and wife Denna of Mexia, Steve and Connie Gillmore of Plano. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday March 3, 2006 at the Northcrest Church of Christ in Mexia. Robin Wright and Steve Gillmore will officiate with the interment to follow in the Coolidge cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Lynn Brim, Terry Cooper, Terry Wilson, Ricky Poteet, Johnny Spruill and Mike Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews - Scott Smith, Brian Smith, Richard Bass, Scott Swigert, Chris Parkerson, Matt Barker, Jeremy Gillmore, Rocky Ellis and Matthew King.
