Howard Donald "Bronc" Hall passed away November 23, 2016 at his home in Mexia at the age of 83. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Prairie Grove Cemetery with Rev. Walter Pickens officiating. Howard was born August 25, 1933 in Oakwood, Texas to John Hamilton and Virgie Louise Minor Hall. He had lived in Mexia for most of his life. He worked for Owens Pipeline Company and Randy Turner Construction for many years, prior to retirement. He loved not only working on the pipeline, but the many friends he made throughout his career. Howard married the love of his life, Billie Sue Jackson, on May 6, 1955 in Mexia and they were blessed with three children, Billy Don, Connie and Jana. His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren or as he called them "his babies". Howard was a man of many talents. He enjoyed doing most anything outdoors, planting flowers in the yard, taking care of his horses, going on trail rides and doing carpenter work inside or outside the house. He also liked to dance and play 42. He was an active member and Deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Billie Sue Hall of Mexia; son, Billy Don Hall and wife, Kim of Longview; daughters, Connie Eaves and Jana Lenamond and husband, Ron of Seven Points; grandchildren, Justin Hall, Hannah Hall, Cassi Henderson, Katy Vega, Bricyn Velazquez, Mikaela Lenamond and Tyler Lenamond; great-grandchildren, Jacie Henderson, Case Henderson, Nathaniel Vega and Natalie Vega; sisters, Joan Teer and husband, John David and Brenda Childs all of Teague; and numerous nieces and nephews.
