Mrs. Ida Mae Dickerson, 77 of Tyler passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 in Tyler. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday December 26, 2005 in the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel in Teague. Minister Alvin Armstrong will officiate and the interment will follow in the Salem cemetery in Freestone County. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Dickerson was born November 22, 1929 in Teague to George Autrey and Buena Vista Beene. Mrs. Dickerson was a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Tyler. Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her children - Frances Dickerson of Prim, Arkansas, Shirley Johnson of Tyler, Janet Schwarz of Tyler, Herb Turner of Troup and Carolyn Farris of Chandler. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also by her sisters - Delia Fowler of Big Lake and Hattie Armstrong of Mexia and by her brother - Emory Beene of Brady. Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her first husband - Fred Turner and by her second husband - W. E. Dickerson.
