Jaime Ponce Garza

Jaime Ponce Garza passed away December 7, 2024 in Mexia, Texas at the age of 68. He was born on January 5, 1956 in San Benito, Texas to Jose Torres Garza and Zoila Ponce.

Jaime grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended Pinkston High School. He was a career mechanic and a car shop business owner. He enjoyed music, street car racing, fried chicken, good food, and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose & Zoila Garza; sister, Gloria Garza Carrion; son, Joel Mack Garza, daughter, Angela Zoila Garza, and nephew, Adam Rene Garza Aguero.

Jaime is survived by his brother, Jose T. Garza, Jr. (Virginia); sisters, Graciela Garza, Lupe Billingsley (James), Maria Sweeten, Juana Garza (Victor), Paula Garza, Cruz Garza (Turkey), Simona Garza (Len), daughter, Margaret Arnwine Valdez; grandchildren, Malik Valdez, Araceli Valdez, son, Jaime Garza, Jr.; and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be no public service.
