Jameia Lorraine Bowers, 62, passed away December 2, 2016 at her home in Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Mr. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Glade Cemetery. Charlie Bowers, Dustin Lane, Kelly Jernigan, Misty Jernigan, James Bowers, Chuck Bowers, Mike Bowers and Hunter Pace will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral. Jameia was born December 12, 1953 in Houston, Texas to James Edward and Myrtle F. Johnson Foreman. She was a MHMR Group Home Supervisor for a number of years. Jameia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she cherished her family. She had a "nack" for decorating and could easily make any house feel like a home. She was not a materialistic person, instead, a nature lover who enjoyed living a simple life. Jameia was happy fishing on any riverbank or pond or rescuing animals. She would rescue any animal, including miniature horses. She had a big heart, an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Myrtle Foreman. Jameia is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Charlie" Bowers, Jr. of Waco; children, Dustin Heath Lane and wife, Nicole of Auburn, GA, Kelly Ray Jernigan and wife, Farrah of Hallettsville, Misty Olean Jernigan of Crawford, James Dean Bowers and wife, Tracie of Wylie, Charles Bowers, III and wife, Jeannette of McKinney and W. Mike Bowers and wife, Jen of McKinney; grandchildren, Hunter Pace, Anily, Abby and Avery Jernigan, Ava Lane, Mckayla, Ryan, Taylor, Jacob, Chelsea, Charlee and Kaitlynn Bowers and Cameron Hammerle; great-granddaughter, Addie Bowers; brothers, Jimmy Foreman and wife, Regina of Mexia, Cliff Foreman and wife, Linda of Kerens, David Foreman and wife, Susan of Kerens and Richard Foreman of McKinney; and sister, Cheryle Lux and husband, Glenn of Salado.
