James Hall

James Wesley "Bo" Hall, 73, of Thornton passed away January 17, 2013 in Dallas. Funeral services will be 4PM, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Central Baptist Church in Thornton with Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel in Thornton. Bo was born May 17, 1939 in Concord, Texas to Albert and Viola Stokes Hall. He had been a resident of Thornton for 43 years. He was a self-employed truck driver, Thornton City Policeman and Manager of Thornton City Water Department. He married Roberta J. Landen on August 7, 1969. He served his country in the U.S. Army, as an Army Ranger, during the Korean War. Bo cherished and loved his family; he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ed, David, Donny and Kay Hall. Bo is survived by wife, Roberta Hall of Thornton; children, Terry A. Hilleary and wife, Pam of Thornton, Cindy L. Cordova of Thornton and Stephanie H. Broyles and husband, Brandon of Plano; grandchildren, Traci Cordova, Kimberley Silar, T.J. Cordova, Wendy Cordova, Veronica Pollard, Cody Hilleary, Emily Broyles and Sidney Broyles; great-grandchildren, Colton, Lane, Dasie, Kendall and Brett Cordova, Cade, Brayden and Presley Pollard; and sisters, Belle Noey of North Zulch, Bobbi Steele of Franklin, Mary Padgett of Marquez and Martha McCoslin of Donie. Pallbearers will be T. J. Cordova, Cody Hilleary, Blake Silar, Dale Carpenter, Joe Neason and Don Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Cordova, Jr., James Edwards, Lance Pollard and Brandon Broyles.
