James Rasco

Graveside services for James Acuff Rasco, 89 of Groesbeck, formerly of Temple, will be Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Belfalls Cemetery. Rev. Billy Koinm will officiate. Mr. Rasco was born October 1, 1918 in Thornton, Tx. to Oscar Rufus Rasco, Jr. and Mary Cecil Seale Rasco and passed away May 27, 2008 in Groesbeck. He retired from the Temple VA Hospital, having worked there for 33 years as a nurse. He also served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple. He is survived by a stepson, Larry Cooper of Dallas; brother, John Rasco of Dew; sister, Nelle Rasco Erskine of Mexia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother and 2 sisters.
