Janis Burrows

Graveside services for Janis Hudson Burrows, 72, of Mexia will be Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. in the Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiating. Visitation with the family will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Burrows was born September 19, 1935 in Mexia to M. W. Hudson and Jimmy Lee (Tucker) Hudson. She passed away June 4, 2008 in Mexia. Mrs. Burrows was a graduate of Mexia High School and of Southern Methodist University. She was a devoted housewife and Mother. Mrs. Burrows was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mexia. Mrs. Burrows is survived by her husband, Ronnie Burrows of Mexia; sons, Rocky Burrows of Rockport, Texas and Lee Burrows of Orange Grove, Texas; daughter, Robin Shugart of Merkel, Texas; grandchildren, Rocky Burrows, II of Los Cruses, New Mexico, Erin Burrows of Orange Grove, Texas, Tyler Burrows of San Antonio, Texas and Haley Shugart of Merkel, Texas.
