Funeral services for Jannie Lou Miller, 80, of The Woodlands will be Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Rev. Neil Bond will officiate with interment to follow in Ft. Parker Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born to Reuben and Delia (Shamblin) Kennedy on September 13, 1927 in Shiloh. She passed away on July 3, 2008 in The Woodlands, Texas. Mrs. Miller lived in the Mexia area most of her life. She and her husband owned Miller's Grocery in Mexia for many years. She was member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her children: Linda Butler of Tomball, Gary Miller and wife, Carol of Madisonville, Sharon Miller-Neal and husband Randy of Jacksonville, Florida and David Miller and wife, Kayla of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandchildren: Dwayne Butler and wife, Brandy, Shana Nagel and husband, Ed, Carrie Rose and husband, Auburn, Crystal Butler, Allison Story, Lisa Tickner and husband, Jeff, Belinda Crowell and husband, Matt, Coy Miller, Blaine Miller and Emily Miller; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce Kennedy of Mexia. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman Miller, Jr. in 1988, brother, Ray Kennedy and sisters, Evelyn Morris and Betty Todd. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Butler, Coy Miller, Blaine Miller, Ed Nagel, Auburn Rose, Jeff Tickner, Matt Crowell and E. J. Nagel. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimers Association or the charity of your choice.
