Javier Olvera

Javier Olvera, 51, of Mexia passed away March 16, 2012 in De Leon, Texas. Funeral services will be 2PM, Monday, March 19, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Benji officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5:30-7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Javier was born October 19, 1960 in La Laja Xichu`, GTO, Mexico to Esteban and Zenaida Landaverde Olvera. He was a heavy equipment operator for Watkins Construction Company. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Javier was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his father. Javier is survived by his wife, Lucila; children, Javier Olvera, Jr. and Oscar Esteban Olvera; mother, Zenaida Landaverde; and siblings, Concepcion, Angelica, Carmen, Marcelina, Nicolas, Maria Elena and Enrique Olvera. Pallbearers will be Efrain Salinas, Eliseo Tello, Jorge Alvarado, Yobhany Alvarado, Pablo Velasquez and Mauro Martin Lugo.
