Jerri Anne Sanders

Jerri Anne Sanders, of Mexia, passed away August 2, 2022 at the age of 69.  Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2022 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Mr. Burnett “Mookie” Wallace officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery.  Daryl Pickett, Jason Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Matthew Sanders, Beau Copley, and Tommy Miller will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Klin and Mark Baltierra.

Jerri was born July 2, 1953 in Downey, California to Kyle Swieringa and Gail Yarbrough.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Steve Bilbo Insurance, in Arlington, Texas for over 20 years. 

Jerri’s family was the light of her life.  She loved her husband and children, but it was her grandchildren and great grandchildren that truly owned her heart.  “Granny”, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them.   

Jerri was a big fan of Classic Rock.  She enjoyed making numerous trips, over the years, to attend Classic Rock concerts with her husband, Buster.  She loved to cook, collect owls, play games on her Ninindo DS, and watch I Love Lucy.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Hortence Yarbrough; grandson, Nicholas Sanders; and brother, Ray Henderson.

Jerri is survived by her loving husband, William A. “Buster” Sanders; children, Jason Sanders and wife, Nikia and Wendi Baltierra and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Madison Hunt and husband, Parker, Zachary Sanders and wife, Savannah, Matthew Sanders, Mandi Baltierra, and Markie Baltierra; great grandchildren, Melody Hunt and Alylah Sanders; brother, Kyle Swieringa; sisters, Pamela Condino and Chrissey Hamilton; sister-in-law, Lynette Copley; and many nieces and nephews.
